Who is Emile?

First, thanks for taking the time to visit my site. Hopefully, you are enjoying it. Now for a little info about me. I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Yea, I’m a good ol’ southern gentleman with a big dream. My dream has always been to create content for television and commercials. I’ve learned that the road to success is wild and crazy, but I’m going to get to my goal with hard work and persistence. During the summer of 2010, I interned with MRB Productions and had a wonderful time. I got to deal with all aspects of production and meet people from all walks of life. In May 2011, I graduated from Reinhardt University in North Georgia majoring in Visual Communications: Electronic Media. As an aspiring producer, I moved to Los Angeles which is the perfect city for my interests.  Now, that I have moved to Los Angeles, I am once again working and increasing my knowledge about production. One thing worth mentioning is that my dream is not limited to one goal. Singing, commercial acting, and even modeling are all still in my future plans, but I can only take one step at a time.  Overall, I am a laid-back music lover who just wants to be successful in whatever I do. I always strive to go above and beyond, but  I am just a guy who loves to be surrounded by people who are just as funny and motivated as I am. I enjoy many things, and I am always talking about my future plans and goals. Now that I have entered the real world, I am just trying to figure out the best route to success. Hope you all enjoy my site, and I welcome your feedback!

What about your blog?

Well, my blog began under a different name, Journeytograd.com. However, after much thought, I decided to do change the title, look, theme, and the overall concept of the site. This blog was started because people said that I had interesting stories to tell. The main motivation for the site was to talk about, as the name implies, what I am doing to get to Los Angeles, and then what I plan to do when I get there. Some of my blog posts may seem a little random, but I promise that they are all enjoyable. With each post I try to provide humor, motivation, and inspiration for those who are trying to reach their dreams, and/or provide updates on what I am doing to reach my dreams.
